I also checked this one out with my tyre supplier... they are indeed too wide for the 5.5" rims.
So... I bought some Wolf wheels! YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

They are too wide for 5.5" rims, but that doesn't stop some people doing it.
If you want steel wheels and 235s, you need Wolf wheels which are 6.5". |

Thanks chaps that's cleared that matter up. So can anyone recommend the best wheels for off roading steel or alloys etc, there seems to be a lot off (style) wheels out there not quite the real thing. I am looking for white wheels to match the white roof so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

White wolfs are the way forward. Can fit either 235s or 750s depending on use/taste.
I have mine fitted with 235 BFG All Terrains, just about perfect for my use. |

Either. It's only the width that affects rim choice.

Yesterday spotted what looked to be std rims with 275 75 16 ! On a 110. Side walls was ramped in, looked cool but safe? When I had to replace my tyres in a rush the closest size the fitter could get in time was 205 75 16 . About 10% smaller than a 750 , awful on the motorway....... They will be replaced with my repainted original 6.5js with 235 85 16 gg at (speedo reads correct too) photos soon. Wolfs look great too. Range Rover p38 4.6 99 lpg(gone )
