12 volt winch
A little while go I was after a pto shaft for my tractor and a quick internet search brought up this company,

https://www.vidaxl.co.uk/

Their pto was half the price of any in the UK and free shipping, anyway I ordered one that arrived in 4 days and I've had no problems with it. In fact I was chuffed to bits with price, quality and the service provided.

Looking for something else I spotted this winch advertised on their site

https://www.vidaxl.co.uk/p/210022/electric-winch-13-000-12v

I paid little attention to it as I wasn't in the market for one then I spotted this sealey one for sale in a recently purchased tractor mag

http://www.sealey.co.uk/PLPageBuilder.asp?...results=16

I don't know what I'm looking at to be honest having never owned a winch but a quick glance at the spec's and there doesn't seem to be a lot in it until you compare the price Shocked

This may or may not be a bargain if you're after one I guess, I do know the norm is a Warn winch but thought it may be worth sharing with you.

In fairness that Sealey is expensive, you could have a Goodwinch for that.

And the Sealey says it has a pathetic 2kW motor too.

Still, that does seem a cheap winch!

The only good thing to say about it is its cheap.

This is a generic chinese winch made in there thousands.

Why is it cheap, the internal conponents are the cheapest possible and the qualilty leaves alot to be desired.

It will work the first time, possibly the 2nd time, but after awhile, when you need it the solenoids will just click when you use the remote control.

The cordless remote are so so, I had one, but sent it back as it never worked, so bought an industrial quality remote.
