Stunning looking defender. That's lock for the spare is the best one I have seen would you be able to advise where you got this as I have the same wheel and tyre combination coming soon and like you the security of the spare concerns me and I like what you have done.

Got mine of the bay "Sawtooth Wheel Locking Kit" for Defender, I believe there are two types so get the right one, think the centre washer is different for sawtooth wheel

One of my first forays out at nigh-time in the Defender tonight, an hour's driving in the dark using the new LED headlights.

Verdict?

Excellent, they are SO bright.

Downside?

They need adjusting, everyone is flashing me! It's my own fault, when I took out the old ones I messed about with the adjusters and didn't get them back just as: Tried adjusting against the garage wall but clearly need to do it again. 2016 D4 HSE

My secret squirrel supplier says the items are now in stock and maybe it will actually happen over the next few weeks.

Kinda lost all my excitement about this now....

Did a bit of tinkering this afternoon and replaced more of the door hinge bolts with the stainless steel variety. All came out ok but some were starting to corrode. Sprayed plenty of ACF-50 in and on.

Used the Defender yesterday on the shoot, it got extremely muddy over all, so today I took it to the local Shell station to dump all the mud on their forecourt instead of my drive.

Once again the iPhone decided to turn my photo around that was correctly aligned when I took it

Bought these to fix a couple of minor leaks after much reading up on the subject and of course going through the 27 page Land Rover leaks guide

I get a bit in the foot wells which I'm sure is the windscreen bolts, but I can nip up lots of areas while I'm at it.
