Dasha, Best thing to do in this case is take it to your dealership and let them put the "earmuffs" on and let the warrenty work its wonders. Mine did a similar thing, turned out to be something small with the rear diff. They replaced the unit with a new one-no problems.

Mine did that - especially when warmed up.
The dealer adjusted the parking brake and that solved it.... ... for a while. Started doing it again now. I'll have them adjust it again but next year I'll stick an X-eng disc brake on it instead of the heavy drum lump (I can't believe how much metal gets spun up!) One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Mine did that, turned out to be the UJ on the rear propshaft. Should that go in only 2 1/2 years of use?

Yeah, mines done that since the day it drove off the forecourt. Sounds like back lash on front diff to me but will take it in to a dealer when i can find local dealer with a decent service department (if there is such a thing). "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'! |
