Click image to enlarge The Flatdog Mantect accepts the end caps and has DRLs!! That's the main reason I went with it as it's as OEM looking as possible but better quality than LR would produce 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

Excellent news. I can order all the items from Flatdog.
Have you got a front view? Does the reg plate need a Holder to put in front of the winch? Cheers West Yorkshire Lofty 2015 90 Keeper 2005 R300 Keeper 2019 XC40 Shopping Trolley 2008 110 XS Utility (Friday Build) Gone! |

That's exactly where I started - I wanted to keep the original look with the end caps.
Devon 4x4 introduced their D44 bumper to me. Initially I wanted the end caps from my old bumper to be transplanted and that was how I ordered it. I went to pick the car up and the install was complete without the end caps and when I saw how sleek it looked I told them I didn't want to fit them. As it turned out they had left them off as they didn't quite clear the front wings. I love it, perfect IMO. |

Mantec and 10s for me... wait until you have to fit the rope onto the spool ... Warn give you a cable tie to pull is through, this will snap within seconds, and no matter how many times you replace it, they keep snapping... i ended up using some cord and plenty of lube.

I had mine fabricated out of 6mm steel, folded into a C section and then had strengthening plates welded into the back. It was the exact same outer dimensions as the standard bumper and accepted the end caps. The bottom was lengthened rearwards to mount onto the first chassis crossmember, forming a shelf for the winch to sit on. I used a Warn 9.5XP as it's such a low profile, if could sit under the radiator grille. This meant that the bumper was able to sit in the same position as standrar, ie not sticking out a foot like some of these aftermarket ones do. Overall it cost me about £500 to make, galvanise and powder coat, but looked exactly how I wanted it to.
