Turbo whistle
Evening all,

I have had my TD5 110 now for less than a week; one thing I have noticed is that the Turbo has got a noticeable whistle when booted. Now....., the engine has been played with; it has had a remap and decat and I think possibly an EGR kit added which when all added up make the thing go like stink (it also has what looks to be an Alive sports exhaust)

Given performance appears to be strong, should I be concerned about the whistle (bearings possibly warn etc)?

It will be because you have the D.Cat pipe on you can hear it more.....mine sounds like that with the D.cat Thumbs Up NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

the wistling sound IS the boost!

when it stops whistling is when you got problems
