UT guys now manufacture their own top and side vents along with front grille and surrounds - similar to KBX but the front grille is more rounded and I have to say they felt as a more premium finish. Very nice.
They call it Best of British and side vents come with small flags, looks cool.

You've probably noticed the Optimil handles on the above picture. Here's a close up. They look and feel fab.

They look good Very Happy
Poor show by them badging the 110 as an autobiography and definitely leaving themselves open to it from Land Rover.
Its a lovely 110 so why cant they leave it as such rather than trying to sell it as something it will never be.
Just my opinion though Whistle

Very Pretty!

At least the owners won't feel obliged to go to the tip with a bag of rubble in the back Whistle

Some of those look very, very nice, although the KBX style grill has never been a favourite of mine. Neither the mesh type grill.

In fact I like the standard grill, especially in gloss black.

But its like a sweet shop in there, so chose what takes your fancy...Wink

cheers

jk84, Thanks for "remembering" me and for the lovely V8 Pics,...I note that it's an LS3.
What an experience it would be to drive one of those on the road,...anyone driven one? The price would be stratospheric I suppose,.....anyone know?
Thanks, Pickles.

couplands, Wifey says, "it's not how fast you go, but how fast you get there"? (referring to how quickly you can "accelerate" to your top speed,...ie, acceleration/overtaking would be brilliant!, and more important than top speed)
Plus of course the awesome sound of that V8 working hard!!....Regards from Aus, the land of V8s!!,Pickles.

There's also the fact if you're upside down in a ditch it takes an awfully long time to get to where you were planning on going!

Lol.....Why would I end up in a ditch?!
I've been driving for a VVEERRYY long time, in more powerful cars than that, so I do not expect to end up in a ditch.
Actually, to enlarge on the subject, it's not only the engine,...I presume that the suspension, shocks, ARBs, springs, brakes etc would be right up to the task.
I've actually thought a bit about what an LS3 defender would be like to drive. I think I'd like the lazy effortless power & torque, that would get me off the line a bit quicker. I'd like the sound of 6.2 litres of V8 (always loved my V8s,...had heaps of them, including our awesome C63), and I'd like the driveability & effortless ease of overtaking that comes with a good V8,.....all good on our big Aussie open spaces. (overtaking B doubles/Triples does take a bit of "planning" in a Defender!)
Top Speed, well yes, that would be improved too, but it's not the most important aspect,.....most roads in Aus are limited to 110KPH, and there are cameras, radar etc EVERYWHERE,...even hundreds of ks from anywhere!!,...so no, top speed doesn't isn't really the issue, but having owned plenty of V8s, I reckon an LS3 Defender would be Ok.
However, having said that, I'm contiually amazed at how good the little Puma 2.2 engine is, particularly with the 6 sp OD GB,.....again ideal for big long distances in Aus.
Pickles.
Surely someone on here would have demo'd one of these Beasts & could describe what it drives like?

Glad you enjoyed the LS3 picks Pickles Thumbs Up I wanted to hear the engine while I was there, but it was low on fuel and they said next time it's started up it will go straight to petrol station. Costs 5 quid just to start the beast Rolling with laughter MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html
