Side facing?
Check with your insurance company first. Direct Line politely but flatly refused and most are difficult, they 'refer it to the underwriters' who for simplicity now have a rule: no side facing seats. I talked mine round. Then talk to DVLA (does Scotland use DVLA?) then talk to the MoT mob. Get it all in writing for the next MoT.... I only moved back to UK 3 months ago from 25 yrs away and ... it feels like a computerised version of a third world bureaucracy. Then it's easy ... I purchased and bolted 2 single folding seats + belts for occasional use and like the result. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ... |
