Dirt D Fenders with chequer plate sills?
Has anyone fitted these to sills with chequer plate?

I was on a shoot last week where I had mine and there was a Defender with these fitted, by the end of the day mine is sprayed up the sides, his was clean!

He told me they can't be fitted to cars with sill plates on, is that so! If not why is it? 2016 D4 HSE

Dirt D Fenders were not designed to work with aluminium chequer plate sills. However people have managed to fettle them so they will fit.

It is the standard issue of compatibility between different after market manufacturers.

The makers also claim they will not work with rock and tree sliders. However I am pretty sure with a bit of fettling and accepting that there might be a slightly wider gap between slider and body work that they will fit.
