Safe Parking and Over night stay in Bath
Hi Guys,

Does anyone live in Bath that could tell me a good place to stay over night that is also a safe place to park my 90 up over night as looking to take the Misses to the Xmas Market this year?

Cheers

Stu

I presume you looking for twenty four hours parking, I have been to a few meetings in Bath and parking is a nightmare as most car parks have this daft night time parking rate 7pm - 8am.

If it is of any help I have stayed at the Bath House B&B on Crescent Gardens twice and can fully recommend the place, the last price I paid was £120 for a double room with breakfast served in your room, the advantage of this place is that it is situated right in the centre of Bath and has free parking that is safe..

We have stayed at the Bath Spa Hotel a few times. Quiet hotel with a good Spa and short walk into town. Parking suitable for a Defender and well out of sight behind the Hotel.

I keep out the damned place as much as I can.
You can't even stop anywhere most of the time much less park. Rolling Eyes

Overnight if I had to. (Never personally will need to.) But I would go with the suggestion of the hotels.
Bath Spa hotel I know of someone who works there. (Not very well as such.)

As well as theft there is the consideration of if sone Censored will some along and try and bang a door into it or scratch it.
Granted, most couldn't anyway but it's possible.

Might be worth checking if Bath Rugby are playing at home the weekend you are planning on visiting. The city is very busy with traffic when they are at home but on the plus side you could always take in the game in one of the most scenic grounds in the country, as long as it's not raining.

The Waitrose Podium Car Park is 1.9m so no good for the Defender. Not sure of secure overnight parking as only go in for the day. Like others have suggested, a good hotel might be best. Or you're welcome to use park up on my drive here and bus in the 10 miles from my village.
