I would have it on their doorstep first thing in the morning! Software upgrades/patches should make it run better, not worse. 2008 Defender 110 60 year Edition (sold unfortunately)
IN the hunt for another Puma for the wifey! 2008 Kia Sorento LX 😁 2.5crdi |

it's possible it didn't "take well".
I'm not sure how software updates can "stick" or not - seems pretty binary to me There have been a few problems (mine included) after supposed software updates that turned out not to have been properly installed. The dealer can fix - they just need to try harder. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

The dealer says this is normal with the latest software! Not sure I beleive them. It sounds like bullsdodah to me. I mentioned that it might not have been installed correctly, and yes you've guessed it, "no, no, no sir, not us" was the reply. Comments (clean) please. |

didn't take it to a dealer near b'ham did you?
I've struggling. engine running rough / hesitation - but I'm thinking its the egr ? could be the same problem? anyway nearest dealer said yes problem but no logs on the ecu so given latest software update (b*llocks - its only a few weeks old and besides hasn't made a blind bit of difference) so go away and see how you get on.... anothe local(ish) dealer suggested if there's no codes logged on the ecu we can't do any warranty work !! so Wednesday I'm driving 100miles to another dealer hoping they can sort the problem |

There are plenty of good local dealers to birmingham that dont need 100mile drives! Mike

I can only tell you what I was told on the phone and although not that far away I couldn't be bothered wasting my time going there only to find out what I was told was right and going round in circles again.
