2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Stornoway Grey

2.2 In Tank Pump Pressure

Howdy all,

I know the 2.4's didn't have an in tank lift pump, just the feed pipes, but they decided to put on back in for the 2.2.

Does anyone happen to know the pressure and supply rate of this? Cant find much info on it at the moment.

As an aside, are there any figures for the low pressure side of the TD5 pump to? If the HP side was to be disabled?

Td5 I think is 4bar and 1bar. Not sure how you would disable the high pressure side only. Hope that helps? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Yeah, I thought the HP side was 3-4 bar. I have a test gauge for the high side, just always forget when I'm near lol! Not built it up yet either

.

As to the LP side, that's interesting! Should be able to disable or re-route the high side. Most of the failed TD5 pumps about have failed on the HP side with the LP side still active.

Need to find somebody with a borked pump! Or get a cheapy BM one to test!
