Very nice We looked at the Hymer MLI 620 before settling on the Adria but the lack of a proper oven amongst other things dissuaded the boss. As Tim and others have said it is a compromise as to what you can live with and without, the Adria won in the end as it has less compromises for us.

Very nice Tim
Well we went for a visit to look at the demonstrator of the Adria we ordered and unfortunately we cancelled the order after having a poke around the place. I knew it was a mistake to go down to Newark as we ended up with this instead Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Click image to enlarge Here's my Motorsport rig - a more modest solution but great fun with or without the race trailer. New slightly longer version of the van due this January. You won't regret having a Motorhome. France in particular is so well geared for motorhomes with thousands of dedicated (often free) camping 'Aires' in many towns and villages for overnight stops. Here's what I drag behind the van Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

We have a motorhome, year old next month ...wouldn't have a caravan, nor would we have a British make (we just don't get many of the British features...German and European all the way!!) ours is a hobby, sleeps 7 so just enough room for the two of us
As mentioned Europe is so geared for motorhomes way more than England. My only advice, fiat (and ours is) is the worst van going. Moms transit is awesome so are the mercs. But fiat have the monopoly. Speed wise, remember it's unladen weight in the uk that sets the speed and plated in Europe so you can legally do 70 in a load of motorhomes here but go to Europe and it's less. Also what he you payload, some on 3.5t have a tiny free load available! Mike |
