Not a celebration series....
Not a celebration series but probably one of the last Defenders to be built. Just had the build date on my 90SW XS from Land Rover which is the 29th January. Delivery expected on the 19th February.

That's such a long wait. Logically worth holding off a couple of weeks and having the new plate.

Whats the spec for it and colour.

I would wait to have it registered March 1

How did you get the build date? Did your dealer advise you..

I ask as mine was ordered back in July for a Jan 16 delivery but no news yet

It's a 90SW XS in Santorini. Decided on just a couple of options - privacy glass and carpets.

I'll be putting on Bowler 16" black wheels, Bowler lightweight front bumper, Bowler sills and Bowler steering guard.

The dealer didn't seem too pleased to wait until March for registration but there's no way I'll be having it less than 2 weeks before the new plate.

Who have your ordered it from.
Sounds like you have it all planned out and I'm sure its going to be stunning.

Looking forward to seeing some pics and maybe seeing it traveling the south Wales roads.

It's from Stratstone Cardiff.

My last Defender was a Black Edition HT back in 2007. Quite excited to be getting the new one. Always regretted not buying a brand new SVX they had in Cardiff back in 2009 and took an age to sell - even with a hefty discount! This will make up for it Smile

Carpets, we couldn't get carpets on the 110!

Think it's two weeks for Christmas,but the slip in last build is funny. When I reserved our slot a year earlier, August was almost the last build date Exclamation Mike
