A nice quality photograph haworthj, particularly in fading light. Do you use a good camera, or did you just get lucky? Smile

It's HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. So it's actually 3 identical pictures taken on a tripod, at -1, 0, +1 ev stops and then all stitched together. The camera is a Canon EOS. There's no post-production apart from the stitching which I really like.

Cheers

Nice work James. I use a D300s and love playing with super wide angles (favourite glass is a 11-16 Tokina) , not into HDR that much but every once and a while you do come across good work.....this looks sweet, good stuff.

What did you get Gigglepin to do on your winch?

Have seen Jim Marsden winch in action and it is super fast Bow down

I was referring to the lights up top. They haven't touched the winch. They wired the lights in for me, and did an exceptional job. Totally waterproofed the wiring. Uprated, waterproof relays. A super neat job under the bonnet.

Holy illuminated bonnet Batman..... Whistle

Looks good, but have you tried driving (for any great distance) with them on? that lit up bonnet will really kill your forward visibility.

How are the lights rigged up? Do they come on only with full-beam or do they have their own dedicated switch? Did Gigglepin run the light cable down inside/outside your RAI? I'd really like rooftop spots.

Thumbs Up

thats right, on low beam they reflect, but on high, the beam is above, so no problem.

They are wired so that the dedicated switch is operable when i switch the sidelights on.

Gigglepin cable tied them neatly in conduit down the outside of the chimney as the kids call it, and then a small hole just behind the bonnet lid, which was then waterproofed. You can't see the hole at all.

They recommended this because they said that if the cables went down the inside, then they'd have to drill a hole in the intake in the engine bay to get the cables out again, possibly rendering the snorkel not water tight, which would obviously defeat the object.

Your Trucks looking great haworthj !! Thumbs Up

All this talk about reflections, my Lightforce 170's are mounted on the roof rack too and I don't get any glare from them at all, guess dipped is bound to be an issue though?

Gigglepin did pretty much the same with my wires, down the outside of the snorkel and sneak it round the back.
