2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey

[Wanted] Family starter caravan 4+ berths & not too old!

As above really, putting the feelers out ready for next season.

This will be our first venture into Caravanning so nothing too posh as we have young kids (6 & 5). BIL has a Bailey Ranger 550/5 and that works really well with the layout so something similar.

Budget is £5,000 for everything and looking to buy not older than 2006 unless really special!

As mentioned, the price needs to include awning, gas bottles & all "kit" so we can simply hook up & go. Suppose that means us finding someone who is leaving caravanning?

Anyone got anything? I can & do travel a bit but initially would prefer SE England! Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Hello

I don't have one for sale but we had a 2006 Elddis 524 for 6 years (until this summer it was stolen)

It was a great family van (our kids 8 and 4) lovely end bathroom.

When looking for similar ones for the insurance these start around £4000 and up to £6000 around this age.

Modern looking van for the money and will probably come with motor mover, awning and other items in your budget.

Prior to this we had a little Elddis 362 (before kids) then a Freedom Micro caravan,

We will be looking at getting a new one but not in a rush as yet due to other Holidays planned.

Looking now in the off season before the Spring when people will start buying again
