Moisture in the footwell probably a combination of things - have you noticed how much ends up in there from the roof gutter every time you open the door when it's raining? No doubt someone will prove me wrong, but I'd say damp foot wells were just a sideline of owning a Defender. Glad I've just got mats and not carpets.

Definitely something you should get used to I agree on the roof gutter problems - and not always/just when the door is open! Also have a closer look at the faux windscreen hinges (gaskets) and the horizontal seal. |

If you replace one of those with SS make sure you use corrosion block / corrosion prevention paste

Cheers gang! Think some moisture may be coming down through the door. The door bottoms aren't looking in their first flush of youth.
Nipped the bolts up and they took so wil replace at some point! |
