I have a vague feeling I registered the domain in late 2004 when it looked like the Defender replacement was imminent
AndrewS convinced me in mid-2007 to launch the site anyway, for late-model Defenders. It ended up as .net as .com wasn't available at the time, it became available a few years later but the .net stuck 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Obviously a Defender trait. You Martin were obviously not the only individual who thought a Defender replacement was imminent. Many shelled out on the prospect too.
