Screw fix rechargeable work lamps
Just brought one of these well impressed for the price , can comment on life expectancy but fairly solid and pokey for LED

Saw that the other day, looks good. Only didn't proceed as I've already got a incandescent 500w one.
LED's are very good now. Thumbs Up

I have found SF has got rather expensive lately unfortunately, used to be best prices out there at one time.

Screwfix is part of the B&Q empire and it's starting to show. Big Cry

Their catalogue says their BZP washers are DIN125A Form A but they're nothing of the kind. Trading Standards should get onto them! Rolling with laughter

I've had one of these for 6 months now and it's great:

Our work's Screwfix discount isn't much but it's nice to have.

I can't find it now, but the last Screwfix catalogue had a load of screws marked "ideal for use with screwdrivers" which tickled me a bit.

Has that happened recently Blackwolf?
As I said they used to be uber competitive but of recent I've noticed not so much. eBay trade suppliers generally are the best now bar some exceptions.

No B&Q has alway owned it.
They are shutting a fair few B&Q stores and turning them into SF it must be said that there must be more money it selling to the trade than Joe public Shocked

Wasn't always owned by B&Q. Was started by Andrew, who I know, who then sold it on to B&Q, and he went on to other things.

Bit off topic but was looking for a Bosch multitool grout removal blade. (Similar to Fein)

SF are asking £30 Shocked

Genuine stock of the same thing £10 delivered on eBay.
Even elsewhere £16 - £24.

Even on the reviews people mention the ridiculous cost and one said it was £25 in Jan this year so went up from then too.
No wonder in-store you could tell by the display tag people have looked, seen the price and put it back.

Not super cheap - but a useful piece of kit.
