2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black

Vehicle height question.

Hi All,
I have a 2010 Defender 90 and want to fit the Mantec one piece snorkel, BUT I need to know if it raises the vehicle height above the normal 90 height of 2.01m, as if it does it would stop me using some of the multi story car parks I use in Cardiff.

If someone has one fitted could they confirm that the ground to top of snorkel is no more than the standard 90 roof height of 2.01 m.

I cant confirm your last question because mine has a lift, but I can tell you that the snorkel top is not higher than the roof, its exactly equal to it

Mine comes in at just a shade under 2 metres, and fits in at least one multi-story in Cardiff.

St Davids 2, John Lewis or Park Place opposite the New Theatre?

Haven't tried the Capitol or the Multi story opposite Cardiff Prison since I graduated to the Defender.

Without going outside and checking with a torch (it's dark down here), if I look at pictures of my 110 I would say it sites maybe 1-2 cm above the roof line. at most. 110 2.4TDCi

I've only used the multi-story opposite the Millenium Centre down the Bay. In town I normally take the easy approach and use voucher parking areas to save myself the slow climb to the higher floors. Peter

Whitbread 4x4 fitted mine and used a Bearmach, cut down by 3 inches so the top doesn't get pulled off on green lanes. They did a great job and the top is still there, despite my efforts! BTW it's just below the roof line.

WelshGas, it is slightly taller than the standard height, but only by a cats whisker.

Had mine on my 2007 Puma now for 12 months and can just squeeze into car parks indicated at 2m.
