Last time I negotiated the A9 Killer Road, I popped in for a cuppa and found that 'display' model looked a bit tired. Rather sad when a classic vehicle becomes nothing more than a stage prop or a piece of window dressing to sell more Barbour jackets to tourists?

As for the cuppa - a rather over-priced latte produced from a vending machine. My personal barista was almost in tears at what was produced, even McDonalds can produce a better coffee for less Wonga.

The car park usually has a couple of Defenders parked up - so you might see something interesting.

Oh and beware all those average speed cameras on the A9 - designed to fleece tourists and fill some Scottish pockets.

Lovely walk at the back falls of bruar

We also must have got to the food hall at a very special time as we had a full wicker basket full of some lovely items all for around £20, we were caravaning at Bllair Castle.

Lovely 'shop' I sat in a leather Chesterfield reading the papers as the boss tried things on.

Hmm - may drive past tonight

Was there a few days ago and never noticed the Defender - must be hidden somewhere?

I like the food there - the steak pie is awesome

Agree coffee & cakes overpriced

Always a pleasant pitstop tho Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
