Rear Diff Guard Bolt Size
I'm trying to fit the rear wrap-around diff guard on my 2009 90.

Front one went on OK with no problems, but on the rear I can't get the bolts into the holes underneath. The guard came with 3/8 BSF bolts and I've got others too but they seem too big. M8 bolts just slide right in.

See the photo, that's another 3/8 BSF next to the hole, looks too big right? The hole is definitely threaded although doesn't look like it in the picture. Whatever the prop shaft bolt size is also too big.

Does anyone know what size I need?

Edit: 3/8, not 5/8 BSF
