Yea I know...Learn to park!
I've just bought a 110 CSW. Unfortunately a couple of places I park are VERY tight with some expensive cars which I'd rather not ding and given the reduced turning circle compared to my S2 88 I'm considering fitting a reversing camera. Has anyone got any experience of them? |

^ Have you the links for this set up?
Is the unit on all the time or only when you engage reverse. would be handy for hooking up to trailer and van and £50 for both? is it an easy install? Thanks |

Sorry for the delay in getting back.
Unfortunately I don't have the info for the parts with me right now but if you have a look on flea bay there are a few cameras listed for around £11 or £12 and the monitor for around £12 or £13 so about £25 in total. It was very easy to install and using the reversing lamp feed to power the camera the monitor only comes on when it has a video feed to it so only when reverse is selected. Graham |

Decided this would be a good idea, particularly when i have the mountain bike across the back of the Landy.
Went for one of these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201079777226 ![]() Click image to enlarge and one of these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281765256077 ![]() Click image to enlarge Camera fits perfectly through the hole in the cross member, no drilling required. Comes with two angled shims so you can point the camera up/down/sideways. Ive just gone straight in flat. Monitor clips over existing rear view mirror, acts as mirror when not showing camera, although a little dark. For just over £30 all in, you really can't go wrong. Couple of hours to fit. Only downside is the weight of the monitor makes the mirror slowly sag. this maybe because my mirror is old. not looked as yet to see if possible to tighten it. |
