My Heritage is having a new galv chassis and general cleanup all round to bring it up to very fine condition following a lay-up of just over two years. (115,000-ish)
The work includes new window seals, bumper, doors, re-spray (Epsom green?) all original spec but with the addition of a few stainless bolts etc here & there - which will be painted over as appropriate.

The car may be for sale following the work, I'd be interested to know if there was any interest, I don't see much reference here to the 1999-2000 heritage model, it would be nice to hear from other owners, maybe with a few pics? ...and a D4 (2011)
....and an MX5 (2002)
....and a Hayter Heritage 30" (2010)
....and a Rover 650E with a detachable mulcher - but the last two are mowers. (2010)

I like the Heritage Edition. If I didn't already have a lovely 300tdi CSW, I'd be interested so guess quite a few others would be too.

Click image to enlarge Took delivery of the Heritage this morning, delighted with the work, all thanks to Belfast LandRover Centre. I'll do a more detailed description of what has been done in due course - a little sooner than my last entry here!

Pictures - I'll put some on when I find the correct CD - I did a bit of computer housekeeping and moved all my pics off into storage. The guys doing the work will be taking pics as they go along, I'm looking forward to having the project recorded.

I'd love to hear from any other Heritage owners - I'm keen to find out how to get confirmation that the vehicle is a genuine factory Heritage. The records from the British Motor heritage Trust give little info beyond confirming chassis and engine numbers (while I gave them), and body colour. They make no reference to leather interior, Wheel colour, "Limited Edition" status, but do record that tinted glass was fitted - mine has clear - not even Sundym.
Apparently the vehicle was built on 29 September 1999, and dispatched to Dutton Forshaw Durham on 29 Feb 2000 (leap year).
I can't find a contact for D-F in Durham now and it looks like they've been absorbed into the Lookers Group, so any records of sales etc for so far back are likely to have been "lost" by now. ...and a D4 (2011)
