Happy to put my name down but, trying to be fair, as there are two concurrent group buys, I'll purchase from the vendor who can supply at the best price and in reasonable time scales.

Yes, interested Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Steve, here you go... Mine smooth black leather with black stitching Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Startech themselves with white stitching and grained leather Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge And Startech themselves from their current website with smooth black leather and black stitching. (same as mine) Click image to enlarge Keep this in mind, you can specify with Startech several colours stitching you want for the wheel. When I bought mine from them years ago, I remember that standard was silver stitching, but you could have white, or black as I ordered to suit the SVX interior, and I know they also do green (as in the Hunter ltd edition) and camel (as in the Black Pearl ltd edition). There was no extra cost for that. So worth asking if this would be possible to get in a group buy. One more thing, in some limited edition versions like the Hunter for instance, Startech use grained black leather. Others like the Black Pearl edition use smooth black leather. Mine came standard with smooth black leather, and I do not know if you can specify either/or. Worth asking if you would prefer grained leather. Oh, they come standard with that nice boss. My dealer at the time had no trouble at all to install it. As to quality, mine after what now must be 4 years at least, maybe even 5, is still as new. The turn signal canceling also works perfectly. I am biased of course, but think there is no better than this. Good luck with the group buy Will be interesting to see how Brendan can twist Startech's arms for a decent group discount. The german auto pride just got knackered with the VW scandal, so maybe the right moment to catch them. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Ken, what is that red wire connected to the bottom screw of the window hinge? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
