New Jaguar SUV?
Parked just around the corner this afternoon.

Definitely a nicer option to the Evoque or Discovery Sport.

Looks to me like yet another bland, visually-featureless, un-distinctive, overpriced, utterly un-interesting, cross-over SUV type vehicle, of the type the roads are becoming alive with. I doubt I'll even notice one driving past.

In other words, just like the current Landrover vehicle line-up, with the sole exception of the Defender.

I can't see any of them crossing the Darien Gap, traversing the BAM road, being used for mountain/cave rescue, carrying troops into battle, mounting a cherry-picker, towing a 4-ton trailer, having a workshop body fitted, or any of the thousands of other things that the classic Landrover vehicle has doen so well for over 65 years. Surprisingly the big engined one will tow ~2.5t.

Wife's considering one as a replacement to her estate (recognising that it's going to be vastly inferior to the Defender when it comes to off-road/towing) but seeing as how I've only driven her car twice this year, and been in it less than half a dozen times in the same period, I don't really care...but as a soft roader goes I don't think it looks too bad.

Don't like the shape of it. Far prefer the shape of the ewok, although it's a touch on the small side..

Saw the articles in various magazines showing this vehicle recently and I think If your looking for this type of 4 x 4 as apposed to a Defender then this looks far FAR better than the Evoque/Land Rover Discovery 2.
I prefer it to the Porsche Macan too. Well done Jaguar. We could hardly have expected Jaguar to produce a Defender style replacement so all said and done I think they've done a good job with this one.
