Not so many around here, but occasionally you will see one. Like this one today which I spotted on the way to Borispol airport. Thumbs Up

There's also a more defined rib further back.

Looks like it might of been a DC maybe and someone created a CSW using the DC roof and a 90 CSW roof maybe?

I remember seeing that door handle design somewhere, a quick google, finds the answer. The vehicle looks like a morattab pazhan, did it look like this from the front?

Just remember reading an article a while back about 'copied' cars, and this was featured, think it was built in Iran Confused

Yes Santana. Also had the Massif. All used series under pinnings but some actually quite reasonable engines!

Never seen the above one though!

Looks like the culprit though looking at the alpines!

As to the above, I now see the differences you talk about. Honestly did not notice that as we were just passing it ahead of a turn, and had not time to take a detailed look.

Here is another Ukrainian one, this time a military police force Defender which I earlier had spotted from the parking lot at Borispol airport itself... This one is very standard, a shiny Puma of only a few years old.

Morattab is an SUV manufacturer based in Tehran, Iran. Since 1962, the company has produced clone versions of the Series Land Rover. The currently produced models are versions of the "Series IV" made by Santana Motor of Spain until the early 1990s, when the production tooling and design were sold to Morattab and shipped to Iran.

As such unlicensed Morattab clones differ significantly from the final Series III built by Land Rover in the United Kingdom. For example, Series IV models have parabolic leaf springs, one-piece windscreens and fully fitted interiors. Morattab also fits locally built 1.8-litre 4-cylinder petrol engines derived from Nissan instead of the 2.25-litre 4-cylinder or 3.3-litre 6-cylinder engines fitted to the Santana Series IV.
