I get a similar sound from stones stuck in the treads.
Last time I got this it was someone's Allen key that leaked air on removal. How hard is it to put tools back? Cheers, Kyle. |

It's fine, you can leave that one alone. It will do it once every time you key on, and only when you break approx 18mph. It's the ESP self test. It runs the ESP/ABS pump (depending on what you have), just to check its a) functional, and b) to stop it from failing through lack of use. Otherwise most pumps would never run through the life of the vehicle. Every car with ESP/ABS will do it, whether you can hear it do it or not is another matter....
