Valuing a 2012 defender?
Folks, can you help give me some guidance?

Going to be selling my defender and can't get a handle on what it's worth, values seem all over the place?

Its a black 2012 110 XS, 63,000 miles, in really good condition, one owner and will be sold with a vat receipt as company selling.

Fsh, brand new alloys /tyres all round as just swooped from my new defender, minor mods include reverse camera/alpine motorised head unit / rear safari single arm spare wheel holder, seats all covered from new so in excellent condition, WiPac headlights, heated mirrors / towbar

Any thoughts? Want to sell but equally don't need to give it away/not in a rush!

Ridiculous question to ask as you will never like the answer, does not matter if you are in a rush to sell or not, it depends upon whether any one wants to buy at your price or not, please do not be fooled by these things are going to be scarce soon. 2012 with 63k miles means it has been used a lot and therefore earned its keep, guess a dealer would ask anything up to £24k which means he would pay about £16k for it so privately ask somewhere in the middle. £20k if you want to keep it, £16k if you want to sell it

if you check on webuyanyvan.com, they value the truck at around £18k and I've found you can normally increase that by around 10% if you're prepared to hold out.

Few years ago I was offered 13k for an 18 month old 90. I sold it in two hours for 20k and brought my new one from another dealer.

Maybe mixing pre vat & post vat figures, I'm guessing a dealer wants a £3k margin

Maybe you should make him an offer Thumbs Up 2020 P300 HSE
