Another option is the Kaymar. Probably the strongest and wobble-less of them all, but pricey. And not everybody will like that it opens separate from the door.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Hi Barney,
Maybe look at the possibility of sourcing a poly-carbonate washer. Whilst still plastic it would be denser and more resilient perhaps for your purpose? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

If people want to see how easy it is to fit a Nakatanenga wheel carrier, come along to our stand at Peterborough.
We have Alex and Harry along with Sandy Grey from Nakatanenga on our stand. Alex has 'volunteered' to do a fitting demonstration of the wheel carrier on our green 110. (If you are any good at reading between the lines, that means I will not have time to do it myself before the show so am planning on using Alex's expertise! ) Thanks Alex Brendan |

Being an apprentice Yorkshire man I hope you got the free fitting deal as well as a discount. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

If I buy the Nakatanenga at the show Alex could demo a single install on my 110 |

Hairy - Honestly it is easy to fit
I highly recommend the wheel carrier it is fabulous Buy it and fit it using the lessons learnt from other (not really lessons just tweeks) More than welcome to ring me when fitting for some verbal advise and encouragement Regards Ian PS Barney glad to hear you're old and decrepit like me |

Well Alex is being paid the same as the other hired friends.
Hope he likes gruel and water as that is apparently the menu for the weekend. Steve you are at the back of the queue. Alex does have a few things to fit to the green 110 Now if you want to cross Alex's palm with silver Must admit when it comes to putting the wheel on the carrier these days I try to get a second pair of hands. Well I do not want to give the full menu away now do I?
You may well have already experienced the 4x4overlander version of gruel and water Just be careful of some of the falling over 'water' which may well be at Peterborough Brendan |

Fitted mine today and would say it was logical but it did take 3 hours from start to finish as had to remove the newly fitted bumperretes which I will sell on the forum later this week
Also fitted the V3 door stay which is at the top of the door and does a great job but it take some strength to close the door now |

Bracket is so you can fit another reverse light onto your vehicle without drilling holes in your bodywork.
