Very smart! I do like that colour and the way it changes with the light.

Step 1 of soundproofing complete; Silent Coat then TGE panels, with map pockets too.

Can I ask where you purchased your Sawtooth wheels and what kind of deal you managed?
I have an 90XS SW arriving in October with standard Boost wheels. I'm either thinking Sawtooth or Dual Finish. |

Hi m33ufo. I've had the wheels for ages, just been waiting for a truck to bolt them on! I got them from a LR breakers, I didn't intend to buy them as original plan was colour coded Wolf wheels, but the price was good so plan was changed..
Not long to wait for you now then. Exciting! |

Have to say, the Utility Wagon is my favourite Defender design. It just looks right!
It would have been complete overkill for me - even if I could have ordered one. 95% of the time I'll be the only one in it! The Sawtooth wheels set it off spectacularly well. My 90XS SW will be Santorini Black - the Dual Finish will make for an appealing contrast. On the other hand, a gloss black Sawtooth would look menacing especially with the right tyres. And yes I am very excited |

Looks fantastic - that wheel and tyre combo really suits it.
You're not hanging around with the mods - nice one! |

Just a quick question- where did you get the map/storage nets for the rear trim?
Oh, and make sure the next photo you post of the spare wheel has the cover squint the other way to upset Venomator's OCD even more Mark S CONVOY for HEROES www.facebook.com/convoy4heroes www.lothian4x4response.org ------ Td5 90 Thread in 'My Defender' Forum |

Hi all. Just back from a weeks holiday in West Wales. I great trip away, perfect for running the Deffy in. 3 up + dog and it swallowed all the kit. Fantastic.
Venomator - I'm very sorry! Hehe. You'll be pleased to know I spent ages lining the LR alloy centre cap up straight but then ruining all my good work by putting the cover on wonky. I've just looked and its straight now - I'm assuming the wife's OCD made her correct my error! I.Am.Driver - I got them from ebay. Just searched for 'large map pocket' or similar. Although mud stuff sell something like too. They proved useful for holiday bits and pieces. Prior to my Wales trip I fitted a VW 99 relay I had left over from my old Defender, but the weather was so kind I never had the wipers on all week! I didn't have time to adjust the steering lock though and had to have a few stabs at some hairpins on the way to and from remote beaches! |
