Hey guys,
Does anyone know where I can get a used but working ABS sensor for my rear left wheel?? Located this problem when searching for why my ABS and TC lights stay on... Its a little difficult to find these in SA it seems... |

I've got this problem. How did you isolate the corner with the problem?

Hi Merlin,
By laying down in front of the front wheels you can see the ABS sensors quite easily, so you should be able to tell if there's one faulty there.. For the back wheels you need to look behind the wheel but on the front door side, to see the sensor. I immediately saw the faulty sensor just by looking at it, because it had been taped up loosely with some tape, real amateur job.. Anyway so I then removed the wheel and took the tape off and saw the damage on the wires there.. I assume this must be where the fault lies... Now just to find a used but working sensor at a decent price!! Your ABS and TC lights also on?? Seems quite common |
