Latest modifications:
Insulated and boxed in the wheel arches using 1" plastic/foam insulation and 6mm oak veneered MDF (left overs). Insulated and panelled the sides with loft insulation and 13mm oak veneered MDF. Insulated the floor with 1" plastic/foam insulation and cut the load liner to fit.

Fitted the replacement variable intermit wiper relay as per dgardel's excellent find - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic1810.html This then got me thinking about the rear wiper, I never need to have the wiper on permanently and it really annoys me having to push the button every 30 seconds, so after consulting the font of all knowledge (dgardel  ) I came up with a way to add the same variable intermit relay to the rear wiper system.

Looking Good.
I did a camper van conversion, after checking I did not install fibre glass loft type insulation as it holds mositure. Check what you have fitted, the reports i read were that the insulation holds mositure in, turns into a black sludge and rots the car from the inside out. I used Thermafleece on the sides and isonat on the roof, both natural fibres which dont hold mositure, both available from camper conversion websites, easy to fit and doesnt make you itch. |

I recently fitted one too and I was the same. You've got to be so careful that once the bit goes though it doesn't peirce the outer skin as well  A drill Step bit would probably been more suitable. |

Put a cable tie on the drill bit, that will prevent you drilling through too far  Richard
