Simple, pragmatic and factual tribute. I hope the Def was well washed afterwards and had a dinitrol treatment before though.

Don't want to burst anyone's bubble but , I'm betting the owner won't be laughing in 6 months time when every electrical component , nut and bolt , door hinge , and bare piece of steel corrodes and fails . It's gonna. Stink of sea for ever and no amount of Waxoil and jet washing will ever stop it . There will be sand in every hidden landrover nook and cranny . A foolish thing to do , we all know it's ability and the sea is not the place to put a landrover . Not impressed .
Ps . Talking from experience .

Enjoyed that, it's put me in the mood for another wee 'island adventure' - minus the wading of course.

The defender used belongs /belonged to one of the master techs at my work.

I believe it has been sold already.

This is one of his other toys that I posted pics of up a few months ago

Bang on the money ...... and I've seen (and walked away from) other Defenders that get a salt water immersion when towing ribs and other boats.
