I'll apologise now for going off topic but videos like that river crossing in Yorkshire really grind me.

What a prize idiot. Having read a large number of reports about drowning (one of the top causes for inland drowning.......) from vehicles entering water and delivered a large number of rescue courses to fire and rescue with a big section on vehicle entrapment- people's confidence in their vehicles and their own stupidity still never ceases to amaze me.

Someone has to risk themselves to rescue (more often 'recover') people like that.

Rant over.

Don't worry about going off topic. Happens all the time.

I totally agree with your sentiments. I noticed in the video that there was a queue behind him. I wonder if they all were as stupid (stoned?) as him... You would like to think not.....
