Quite, the aftermarket SWE-1200 is not exactly the same as the factory fitted LR040866 unit.
It is, however, a third of the price... I await what (if anything) Dan has got  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Your standard LR speakers/fitting holes are basically small, so the BASS is always going to be poor, the SUB is to boost that frequency range. not really any need to get more technical than that.
Edit : And its more expensive than just a speaker because its an active(amplified) unit. 3 Landrovers |
