Anyone got a 2011 MY XS ... can you confirm what colour the plastic studs holding the grill on should be?
There are only black ones on the L/R parts list and i thought i saw a new XS with brunel (ie colour coded) studs Thanks |

Can I ask a silly question what does MY and XS mean? Also are LRs coming out of the factory at the moment going to have 2011 badging and what does that mean and is there any difference to 2010?

thanks should have checked the UK LR website. So a XS is the standard truck for Australia minus the heated seats which I can't even imagine why you'd need these. |

i'm not 100% sure, someone please correct me who's knows better...
the 11MY models get a silver font on green background, as opposed the the gold font on green background. something to do with the re-branding of the Land Rover product... 
there's going to be two separate targeted product lines now, 1. Range Rover (these will sport the gold/green) 2. Land Rover (these will sport the silver/green) Marshalls (Bedford) is having a refit/re-launch, maybe in line with this latest stratergy. to be honest i'm not to sure, it's what the sales manager told me...  |

New grille is being delivered tomorrow, thanks for spotting the badge issue, will check that the grille has a badge attached. There are 6 or 8 plastic studs / rivets that hold the grille into the surround, are these black on ALL defenders or are they colour coded to match the colour of the grille? Must say the heater works much better in the Puma than in my previous TD5s. |

Thanks Andrew, i will use the old ones then i'm back from work and have checked, the badge is silver and green and matches the badge on the back. It's just the light that makes it look gold and green in the photo. |

Mine are silver. Thanks for the pointers. Sorry to hi-jack this thread slightly, but does anyone know where I can get a list of differences between the 10my and the 11my. When I bought my Landy the dealer didnt know of any differences between the models. Thank you |
