Thanks

Cage should look better when done. As this is all just tack welded with not all corners mitered in etc. Also as its now painted satin black it will blend in better. WIth the lights, lader, number plate etc fitted it should blend in nicely.

It is designed to be unbolted and lifted off by two people in less than an hour too Smile, so can be easily removed. All lights will be wired with plugs too so they come off with the cage.

I wanted something different and substantial.

I will post a photo of one i seen done on a truck i tried to buy before buying this one. This is where i got my idea from.

Looks stunning! Nice job Thumbs Up I would leave the cage though, buts that's my opinion and no one ever listens to me, each to their own. Very Happy

Will put it on and have a good look at it before I make my mind up. Either way it can come on and off with two people in under an hour. All opinions welcome. I want to get this truck looking the best I can.

Love that load area upgrade. Bloody ingenious and will certainly be copied when I make a platform for an internal bed. Easy parts, lightweight, cost effective and DIY. What's not to like? Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

Grenadier that's one of the reasons I have done this. When out and about I can now make the rear in to a bed area if needed. When fishing I can now also store my fishing rods underneath and remaining tackle on top. Ado if I need to move anything wide it will now fit in. Plus on the off chance I get stuck I now have sand ladders.
