I discovered I have a faulty bonnet catch.
Called LRA who sent the AA out, the man promptly sheared of the cable adjustment screw And then left with out fixing it. So another quick call to LRA and they want to recover the vehicle. Oh well courtesy being delivered tomorrow. Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Fitted a PSM mount for CB aerial as a gutter mount wasn't exactly ideal on narrow green lanes with loads of gorse

Fitted my new Safari Snorkel...........suprisingly straightforward apart from connecting the hoses under the bonnet due to lack of space, ended up taking the ariel out to give more room.

Got the defender back after a 6 day 3 courtesy car warranty job!
Am now on a nice Aberdeen to Norfolk run. 8 1/2 hours to go. Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |

Fitted new colour co-ordinated dome nuts to my vent flap hinges, now Im going to find some mud to play in... Life is not a rehearsal!

Went spinning up to Kew Gardens for a family day out and a test drive with my new Allisport Intercooler and Twisted SS exhaust!! Bloody Marvelous!!! Thanks to Twisted and Allisport and of course to Gigglepin who fitted it for me!!

- Momo stearing wheel - Ciare tweeters+woofers+Infinity subwoofer - front SVX light - front and rear diff guard Next days: - Equipe tank guard - Terrafirma tree slider - Devon 4x4 transfer guard - Devon 4x4 fuel guard - IBS dual battery system + second battery Optima yellow top and others that now I forgot.... replaced rear HD springs with the standard springs.
hopefully tyhe ride will be less 'giggerly' ! BM52 |
