You should read/re-aquaint yourself with JLR's press release: "The exclusive Autobiography Edition provides more comfort, equipment and performance than any previous model. Its unique combination of interior and exterior features and special paint palette guarantee to make the Autobiography the most desirable Defender ever produced. The production run will be limited to 80 vehicles in the UK and the Autobiography will be available exclusively in the iconic 90 Station Wagon bodystyle. A power upgrade from 122PS to 150PS guarantees performance will live up to the promise of its eye-catching looks and exclusive appearance. Striking duo-tone paintwork is the most obvious of the Autobiography’s unique features, but the most desirable Defender ever built includes a host of tasteful additions." http://www.newspress.co.uk/public/ViewPres..._ref=22679 |

I am going to order a disklock as part of security for a 90 adventure on order. The steering wheel is full leather so not identical to xs version but likely same as autobiography version. Just checking does anyone know size to order for disklock and would it damage the leather over the centre of the steering wheel?

Well bloody hell, went to have a look at the 90 Adventure that was going to be mine, there was also a black 90 with leather and black pack, being honest apart from the exclusivity of the Adventure I couldn't see where the extra $13K was! I took my old mate and he called me a knob, saying that I should just buy the standard one! Anyway, they had a 90 demo and I took it for a drive, well I was shocked how great the seats are and after reading posts on how cramped the driving position is I thought it was great! Loved the steering (apart from the lock) and thought it was quite nippy, hated the shift from 2nd to 3rd but reckon I'd get use to it! Will I get use to it, reckon so!
We then had a good look round all the new car garages and you do start to question yourself when you see what you can buy for just under $70K. Seen the new Alfa sports car as well, that is one nice bit of kit! My old mate looked at a Ford Fiesta ST, for the cost of the Adventure I could buy two and still have $10K, bizarre isn't it! |

You have to take them off when you opt for side runners.

That orange is bold! Good, as I have one on order which is being built next week for late October delivery.
Getting excited... Being new to this game, I'll shortly be after advice on the mods others are thinking of doing. Keen to understand the 'must haves' vs the 'nice to have' if that makes sense. First thing is seat covers for the front seats as well as the third row which I think are all Windsor premium. Cheers |

Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Picked up my Adventure 110 over the weekend. An Awesome unit very happy! The 6 speed gearbox is great on the open road. Did 450km and sat on 120 at 2200 rev. The premium leather seats are so comfortable compared to my old 98 model. Love it. |
