[Sold] Double cab rear canopy with catflap £---
Thinking of selling my double cab back, it is made from a series roof cut down and has a series rear catflap along with side locker openings (could easily fit shelves in these spaces) It was all painted in chawton white at my local paint shop, so is a good colour to paint on top of if you want to change the colour.
It also has gutters the same measurements as the cab to allow you to fit any standard 110 roof rack to it. a pair of rear ladders is included in the sale. £---ono Collection from West Mersea, Essex or Southwold Suffolk. I could possibly deliver it locally at cost/ meet somewhere.

That is nice! Much more asthetically pleasing than an Ifor top.
If I had a DC I'd certainly have been interested.

GLWTS. Thumbs Up

Cant take the full credit as Dan on here had started it, purely by luck he was selling the first stage when I was about to buy a hard top to do the same thing, so really just stripping paint and getting parts for it was all i did Very Happy

Wow that went quick! Take your finger off the pulse for a second and miss it!

I didn't even see it go up.

It does look brilliant though, a great idea if only I had the skills.

So Airpusher, do you agree with my colour choice?
Mine is a silver double cab, what colour should I have it painted in your opinion?

I have already had it painted, but just for interest.

Hey Andy,

Personally I'd have gone for matching colour. Mine silver too and I'd have had it sprayed silver.

Saying that, black may look good too as my canopies black and I love the black silver contrast but would the shine from the paint spoil it!!! Mmmm

So go on then, what did you choose! It's a tough one, I spent ages debating just my wheel colour!!! Lol 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver

Was the exact same questions I had to ask myself.

In the end went for satin black. Didn't want gloss as I'm not into shinny, and I love the look of mine with the black fabric rear. It's now been sat in the garage for two weeks waiting for time to fit it.
