Blacksheep are the ones I am planning on for mine, but might try and get it in flat pack form and find a willing welder local ish to me. Essex for me is about the same as you two! 1999 Defender TD5 110

Perhaps we can get a job lot sent to us..
Who would you use to weld it, as Blacksheep seems to be a demon welder...? cheers simon |

I thought that guy gave it up. He was a member of landyzone and due workload got fed up.
Either I'm thinking of a different guy or he decided to start up again?? |

I contacted him recently and he's still going, but suggested I call him when I'm ready to do the work.
He did stop due to some problems with his workshop, but seems to be going again. cheers simon |

Blacksheep4x4 are still making crossmembers, bought one from Clive a few weeks ago, over the moon with it and wouldn't use anyone else's, brilliant item and removes the mud trap that land rover built

Friend had one done in last 3 weeks by him. Coded welder and the fit, finish and service was top notch. They are honed from sold chunks of pig iron it seems!! The rest of his 110 will be found in a pile of dust in 50 years with a perfect crossmember attached to it 1951 80" S1 2.0
