Yes indeed. There's no practical use for them, and would be "more difficult" to darken and isolate them at night.
I was hoping they delivered the HT without the rear windows, as it was with our 90, but it seems LR installs them when you order the side windows.

In a later stage they may become doors from where I can access water and air from the outside. 28/02 - Loss of a good friend...

Few day's off. Time to work on the cabinets.
Typical for an LR job, things don't work out the way you planned, but the job will get done at the end.

This is a great build thread, speaking of a top and personalised job... Thumbs Up

Out of curiosity, who is your Dinitrol man? The first time my SVX was Dinitrolled was in Belgium, a Volvo dealership in Schoten near Antwerp, recommended for this job by Land Rover Antwerpen. They did a great job and at a reasonable price too. You can read some details in the below topic.
http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic13479....l+belgians

Wonder if I know who you use in or near Tienen, I know the area very well because my ancestors are from a village about halfway between Tienen and Diest.

Now in the meantime we found an even better Dinitrol center here near Basel (they are a rare breed here), I had redone the entire coverage there this spring. It is still gushing out of everywhere even today. Laughing

Interested where your travels with that gorgeous Olli are going to take you. Cool

Groetjes, Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Thanks for the compliments! It's nice to read Smile

@Eric, I'm doing the dinitrol job at Gert Goverts. He's the son of what we call the Land Rover Oracle of Belgium: Rob from LRG (Herentals)

As for halfway Tienen en Diest... That's exactly where I live: Kortenaken

Destinations are countless on our wishlist, but the ones being actually done is looked at year after year around December.

August will be a test weekend in France near Epernay. Visit friends and drink champagne Smile
In September we'll be driving in the Alps from North to South.
December the Ardennes if by then the webasto is installed

Next year it's normaly Iceland and maybe Scotland with the boys of Overleef.be

Morocco or Tunis is also high on the to-do list.

Still... I'm afraid we will need to win the lottery so we can quit our day job Smile 28/02 - Loss of a good friend...
