Have been trying all year to get one of these at a good price, persistence paid off. £60 sweet waiting for a loom to arrive then have to find a way to adjust mileage

its been a while since I've done anything, to the old defender! just been driving it! no issues (should say no major issues).
decided to crack on with a few bits I've been wanting to get done for ages. Finally got the TD5 instruments in Click image to enlarge WOW huuuuuuuuge difference from the old tdi dash!! took a while to get it wired in and working but its all doing as it should, apart from one little issue where the abs light is coming on with handbrake light. have to say a huge thank you to retroanaconda for his how to guide. And a doubly big thank you to PaulMC!!! for taking the time to advice me on tools needed for crimping, to exact procedures for crimping the teeny weeny .40 terminals and also to cwazywabbit on lr4x4 for adjusting the mileage on the odo. I now have a full 2002 td5 dashboard which is a really good factory upgrade for the old tdi Also passed MOT last month with NO advisories!! My 109 thread my youtube channel |
