I have used Glossop Caravans for over thirty years having bought in total five caravans from them. Glossop Caravans are one of the biggest caravan showgrounds in the country, family owned by the Laing’s, and if you think they have a lot of vans on their showground you ought to see their storage compound at Pineterfield about a mile down the road where they keep their back up stock.
http://www.glossopcaravans.co.uk/ Their service depo situated just down the road from them is a state of the art new build complex. http://www.caravanmovers.co.uk/pages/Service.html Right why do I recommend them first they are competitive on price, give very good trade in deals, super warranty which is their own on top of the Caravan manufactures. Over the years I have had a few problems with the caravans I have bought, nothing major but problems, Glossop Caravans have without argument fixed all my problems at no cost and done a super job. Last year I had a problem with the electric consumer unit while on holiday, Phoned Glossop caravans and within an hour they had sourced a caravan service agent in the area who arrived on site and fixed the problem and Glossop Caravans footed the bill. When I arrived home there was a nice letter saying how sorry they were that I had this problem and enclosed a £25.00 voucher to spend in their accessory shop. They also have a huge awning department Awning World http://www.glossopawnings.com/ Also have a read of this http://caravanchronicles.com/tag/glossop-caravans/ Of course with such a big dealer there will be some who are not happy but that is inevitable when thousands of Caravans are sold, but if you do have an issue I have found they do their best to put it right. One other thing Ralph Thorman the manager worked for Land Rover as a manager before he moved to Glossop Caravans and will happily talk about Land Rovers till the cows come home For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |
