Welcome to the forum, all be it in sad circumstance
Sorry to see the damage but at least you still have the rest of it! Perhaps time to review your security arrangements before they try again? Have a search for Security or layers using the search function and see what else may be worth looking at on your vehicle. Don't worry, Defender ownership isn't all doom and gloom! I hope you get her back on the road again soon! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

I'd have thought the wheels would have been more profitable. Also how did they get the number plate lamp as I thought that was bolted on from inside? Ray

They didnt get inside, so must have been screws and a hard yank.
I'll certainly need to have a think now about preventing this from happening again |

All my lights and accessories are secured with stainless security screws.

How bizarre, you'd be lucky to get £40 for that lot, what a lot of effort for so little return ?
I suppose on the bright side it could have been much much worse |

It's unbelievable what some scum will do these days.
That looks like a fellow Defender owner nicked the bits for there motor.(tw@T) As we all know they are taking whole front ends from Fiesta and Focus while parked in supermarkets. I'm really sorry this has happened and hope you get it back to exacting standards asap. |

I share your pain having my Puma bonnet stolen and window smashed on the 10th July. I am still waiting for the insurance company to honour the claim.
As for SOCO you did better than me. Without a DNA sample or licence number my Police investigation is not being pursued. I hope your more lucky. |

Strange that they've taken the connectors with the lights. Have they just yanked them off or have they actually removed the pins from the connectors properly? Tom

Looks like they've unscrewed them and then yanked them off. Some of them still have connectors and some just pins.
