United Kingdom 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Galway Green
Any ideas on this please?
Hi all, found consatina type paper hanging under bumper other day. Looks to be fins from what I assume is something to do with air con? Can I repair by super gluing back in or does the rad thingy need replacing? It's a 2005 XS. Thanks.

Not much you can do when they get like that, happens to all rads over time.

You could get it repaired, or get it re cored.

But for the price of new ones it's not really worth it,

My old Disco has the first 1/2" missing at the bottom, been like that for years. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered.

Ive always give the rads ( a/c , coolant , intercooler ) a very light mist spray of waxoyl and never had a problem with rad corrosion,

of course you dont want a thick spray of wax on a rad that the air needs to get though, just a very light mist of thinned waxoyl and as the rads warm up it will creep in everywhere on the rads

A VERY LIGHT THIN COAT !!!!
