Hi Guys,
Me and My Girlfriend are looking for her First Defender. 
We don't have a huge budget (Absolute maximum £5000) but want to find something for her to start out with. We don't want too much of a project but don't mind something with "character"- Minor-large cosmetic issues rather than mechanical issues. We are not scared of work but similarly we don't want to buy a defender, then a new chassis and doors and axles and gearboxes etc etc.... We would ideally like a 200/300Tdi Station wagon but would consider the following: 90 Station Wagon 90 Pickup 110 Station Wagon 110 Pickup 110 Double Cab Pickup Any engine from 200Tdi-TDCI No petrols though. The more original the better as this will be her first car so less modifications the better! (plus we want a clean start) We would rather buy from the Forum than to go for ebay or autotrader but if someone knows a certain vehicle is sound then please get in touch. So, does anyone have a beloved vehicle they have been thinking about selling but want to make sure it goes to a good home? Good Home waiting
