If you had been given than in Melbourne mate, you would either have averaged 60 mpg, or would now be locked up for 10 years be being 'a reckless danger to society'! Laughing

Yep, quite right Pete, in Victoria, where "Nanny State" road laws prevail, I would've been in big trouble!

Have just paid a substantial deposit on a Montalcino Red defender 90 pick up...

Fairly standard spec, air con and HD steels, black roof body colour arches

Have also ordered a set of side panels and full length roof if we want to change it to a hard top in the future... Don't really know what we are going to do with it just figured better have another one than not...

Will be getting kitted out similar to my current one as time goes on, first thing will be lowered on alive comfort springs, bilstein dampers, led headlights recaro's and a pair of twisted wheels

Did you buy a rear door as well? I wish the lower tailgate/upper tailgate was still available. I don't know when it was discontinued, around SeriesII I would guess?

F Types are very nice motors, I looked at one before I bought my Maserati. The rear 3/4 view is especially nice, will make a bargain as a used car if it follows the usual Jaguar depreciation curve.

oops forgot to mention that, yes everything to turn it into a hardtop if the time comes if not, I'm sure in the future people will always need these parts
