United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black
Having dug a bit more there's plenty of reports of domestic LED units wiping out AM/FM and DAB but that seems to relate to el cheapo domestic lights.

It isn't normal electrical buzzing on mine (I once had a car and the radio interference changed with the revs of the car). If I listen to music other than on the radio (CD, bluetooth from the phone or wired via the USB input on the front of the alpine radio attached to the phone dock) all is fine. Crystal clear.

I only get problems when I listen to the radio, more like radio interference than dirty electrical supply which makes me suspect the aerial or aerial earthing maybe?

The good news is I can see great in the dark and would buy LED headlamps again tomorrow if I bought a new Defender. 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs)

2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ...
1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold
2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone....

I have this with my trucklite's only on full beam and its definitely an electrical interference sound. The car had them when I bought it so no real idea whats wrong.

It has got better changing the head unit from the LR one but still there.

Im ignoring it at the moment but I will watch this with interest and no doubt as the nights draw in I will be using the car more at night it will go back up the priority list!

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Very interesting to hear I'm not the only one suffering. I'm really leaning to bed earth somewhere as suggested by all so far (LED lights are proper E marked units and am very confident it's nothing yondo with them).

I did notice that the interference NOW also occurs when I operate the electric endows too....back to LR and see what happened last time they took the dash out?

Agree also that CD etc is static free. Took leads etc out though (good suggestion Brendan) but no real improvement.
